Personal correspondence must show the resident's name and identification number exactly as printed on official paperwork, together with the sender's full return address. Letters sent to the mainland visitor office cannot be forwarded. Parcels, books and money orders are accepted only when prior approval has been issued.
Legal & Official Visits
Legal representatives, consular officers, inspectors and originating-agency personnel should arrange access through the authority responsible for the appointment. Professional credentials, equipment requests and the names of accompanying persons must be submitted before travel instructions are issued.
The mainland processing office cannot admit unannounced professional visitors or accept service of documents on behalf of an authority or resident.
Programs & Services
Education, work assignment, case management, chaplaincy and approved correspondence courses are allocated through the center's internal assessment process. Families cannot enroll a resident in a program through this site. Participation depends on individual case planning, conduct, staffing and operational requirements.

There is no public ferry service and no visitor parking at the facility. Approved visitors receive mainland reporting and transport instructions with their appointment letter. Those instructions should not be copied or passed to another person.
Contracted suppliers must quote the delivery reference issued by Procurement. Unscheduled freight, personal deliveries and goods addressed only to “Havonkee Correctional Center” will be refused at the port. Drivers remain subject to port identification and vehicle checks.
